Plugins4Automate Releases Patch Remedy Build 1.0.4.47

Plugins4Automate is happy to announce that they has released Patch Remedy 1.0.4.47 today with the following new updates. Current Patch Remedy users will receive auto updates this evening.

They added support for Windows 10 version 20H2 along with updating all Windows 10 versions with latest updates.

Today we are going to show you the new Windows Registry Search tool available in the client console. The Windows Registry Search tool allows you to look for Windows registry data across the entire client or a select group of agents under the client. The search is done in real time and the results displayed in the plugins terminal for each agent the search runs against.  This makes quick work when trying to see if agents are consistent in their registry data across a client or any of its locations. 

Using the search parameters you can search for key pieces of data across any number of agents and compare the output from each agent in the same view.

Plugins4Automate released the beta version of their latest application maintenance plugin App Genie

What is App Genie?

App Genie is designed to make managing 3rd party updates to “Already Installed Software” literally brainless. The MSP just installs the plugin and selects a client console from the Automate Control center and enable the updates on workstations and/or servers. App Genie will look at the installed software lists of each agent and determine if it has a match that it can apply updates to. Then it goes out regularly to test and apply updates if needed.

App Genie is in Beta testing through the end of June 2019. At the time of writing this article App Genie is on build 1.0.10.0. We want to thank all the people involved with the testing and deployments of App Genie! Its been really fun and fast paced ride from the beginning.

Chocolatey is a package manager for Windows (like apt-get or yum ,but, for Windows). It was designed to be a decentralized framework for quickly installing applications and tools that you need without the need to manage software stores. It is built on the NuGet infrastructure currently using PowerShell as its’ focus for delivering packages from the Chocolatey repositories to your computers.

Surflog for ConnectWise Automate Adds New Charting with DevExpress.

Plugins4Automate has updated SurfLog Browser Metrics Plugin for ConnectWise Automate today bringing in new charts and graphs that use the DevExpress libraries. This allows the plugin to work as designed in the new Automate 12 versions. We look forward to seeing all the other integrations Plugins4Automate has available using these new UI libraries.
